Yes, K.K.I.N.S.O. is an incorporated 5013 C non for profit organization in the state of Iowa. Our official incorporation date is October 4, 2005. For more details please go to the Secretary of State website for the state of IA.
Aren’t you the little sisters to the Kappa’s?
Though you might see some similar qualities, we are our own organization with our own constitution and bylaws, code of conduct and membership requirements. We do not claim to have any OFFICIAL tie to the Kappa’s. In 1990, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. officially denounced any official ties to all so called little sister organizations. We will work with any and all groups who are willing to help us keep to our mission statement.
Why not just join a sorority?
Our organization has similar attributes of a traditional greek sorority. our members are able to see if joining a greek sorority is what they would like to do. We have mandatory community service hours, monthly meetings and GPA requirements. Once our members join greek sororities they are capable of holding business meetings, planning events and being leaders in their chosen organization.
What are the benefits of joining KKINSO?
With anything you do in life, its what you make of it. Your experience can be as enjoyable as you want it to be. You just have to be willing to be hardworking, dedicated and loyal. In the end it will pay off!
Does KKI stand for Kappa Kappa Iota?
No K.K.I. are not greek letters it is an acronym for Krimson Kourts Inc. Kappa Kappa Iota is a sorority for educators and K.K.I. is a non greek social service organization.
